Aspiring Bitsibean, c. early 2000’s

“@Bitsibean is one of the most creative, inspirational and kind hearted people to be around. It’s so amazing watching her head work on what the next shot might look like.”

-Lucy Gittings, Model

Hey! My name is Gabriela Cudicio, I am known by most as Gaby and online as “Bitsibean.” I have been a photographer of many capacities for about eight years. It is with great appreciation that I can say I was born and raised in Wilmington, North Carolina. Though remaining in a once smallish coastal town turned seaside city, I have traveled internationally and nationally capturing personalities through imagery from the blossoms of Japan, the lights of New York back to the desert known as Las Vegas.

When I was fifteen, I was gifted by my parents a Canon Rebel T5 for Christmas. Occasionally bringing it to hang out with my friends, I was fascinated by taking photos in unorthodox ways. None of us had a car or money, however we were very driven kids who, dare I say, did what we wanted so we got creative. The results were images that captured raw youth and emotion firsthand thus creating a personal pursuit to freeze a moment and feeling, something I chase to this day.

Those days of nonchalant photo taking became an outlet for a young woman growing up which gradually formed her business.
